My past experience was a newborn nanny with American family for 3 years (August 2022 – 18 Sept 2025). They do have older kids (11 and 8 years old). However, my duty is only taking care of the newborn one. My daily routine includes feeding the baby every 2–3 hours, burping and changing diapers after each feeding, and settling the baby down for naps throughout the day and night. When the baby is awake, provide gentle play or tummy time, soft singing, or reading to stimulate development. Keep bottles, clothes, and the baby’s area clean and hygienic, record feeding, sleep, and diaper times, and give a gentle bath if scheduled. At night, continue with feeding every 3–4 hours, ensuring the baby is comforted, safe, and put back to sleep, while updating parents regularly on the baby’s progress.
While the baby is sleeping, handle light household chores such as a cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking as needed. This family have one dog and 5 cats
